I just posted the scrapbook I made for Scotty, who passed away Christmas morning, and Sybil, who is now 15 years old:

I just loved reading every word of your dog album. Way cute! Love the layouts too, but it was the stories that really got to me!

Gina, that's lovely. Loved the way you did the beach with the rolling waves. Was that very time consuming to do?

Thanks Katherine

Great job, Gina! Like M-C, I read every word (OK, not the teeny, tiny print on the "documents", but what you wrote). Am passing the link on to my cousin, a scrapbooker also in VA.

I keep meaning to do a kitty album for my 21-year-old Tigger & for Sam, who made it to almost 18. Someday inspiration will strike.

Katherine,

You must mean the title page to my Beach 2006 album. That's scrapbook paper! Isn't it pretty? I got it at Michael's.

Thanks for your kind words, everyone!

I realized that this album ends a bit abruptly. I haven't decided how to "close out" Scotty's story, and of course Sybil is still with us, so there will probably be more pages with her. I hope. :-) After I finish my currant project I'm going to make pages for Shelley, the Cocker we had prior to Scotty and Sybil. I have some great shots of her! I'll put those in the same album, at the beginning.

Wonderful album, Gina. Brought back a lot of memories for me. My grandmother raised show cockers back in the late 30's thru early 50's. By the time I came along in 55 she was done except for the two family pets. I was raised by my grandparents and was on equal terms with her other two babies. Sandy

I loved looking at all your LO's, Gina, and reading all about Scotty and Sybil. Furbabies can act just like children sometimes. I can completely relate to the "Afghan Hounds". My previous cat, Bagheera, decidd my old baby blanket was for him. I found it in a box when I was pregnant with DD and had planned on washing it and using it for her. Bagheera commendeered it before I could wash it. LOL Scotty sounds like he was a wonderful dog and playmate for Sybil. They're both so cute!
