Ebay problem

I ordered sizzix die cuts from an ebay seller over a month ago. Last week I emailed her to see what the hold up was and she said that she had some big orders that were ahead of me and to be patient. I emailed her back and said that I ordered these die cuts for my niece who is coming to stay for a week next week and I would really like to have them asap. She never responded.

How long is a fair amount of time to wait for simple sizzix diecuts?

When I have ordered scrapbook stuff form E-bay it only took about a week after they received my payment.

I would tell her that you want your stuff in 2 days or a full refund. One month is way to long.

The other thing is not to wait so long that you can't get your money back if she flakes on you. That happened to me with one of my DHs Christmas present and poof there went $70. And she had the nerve to leave me negative feedback even though I paid her right away within 5 minutes of finding out I had won the auction. She was upset because I oeft her negative feedback! Heck I was upset to be out $70.00!

If you paid via Paypal you need to file a Buyer Compaint within 45 days of payment to have any chance of getting them to investigate your claim.

Did the auction description say that you would need to wait in excess of a month for the item/s won and paid for? Ignoring your emails won't help to keep buyers sweet! I would contact her again and give her a deadline to get the item to you...then proceed to file if she doesn't fulfill her contract!

You can also use the contact seller form to find the telephone number of the deadbeat seller and then harrass him/her/it verbally as opposed to having them hit delete.

I did this when I paid for something and after several months nothing. Complain through eBay and Paypal.

This is the thing, I had to email her because it was 20 auctions so she could combine shipping. She answered right away and I paid right away and she never mentioned that it would be month or more before she could send them. After I waited for a couple weeks and things that I bought after that were already here I checked her feedback. She sells alot but she has some negatives fo very slow delivery. Had I checked first I would have bought them from someone else.

I noticed that those that gave negative feedback got negative feedback from her and I have a 100% positive and don't want her to ruin my score over $20. I guess I will run out and buy a couple of the dies that I wanted to be able to work with for my niece. I know I am not going to use them for anything else but then again I probably have 40 other dies that I only used once or twice. It is just frustrating.

If I call and harass her there is always the possibility that she will return the favor. I know I would if someone was harassing me. ;o)

A month is too long to wait in my opinion. Look at your auction and reread her shipping policies and see how long she states as her policy to ship an item. Then remember how you paid for it... was it by personal check that could take a week to get to her and 2 weeks to clear the bank. In that case maybe a month isn't so bad. If you paid by something like Paypal she got your money promptly then it's been a month and she hasn't even mailed it I'd be checking into my options with ebay higher ups.

Believe me I understand. I had 100% positive as well. Of course I finally figured out that I could post a comment to go with her negative feedback so I don't think people will hold it against me especially as I was the buyer in the transaction! I hope that she comes through for you soon! Like you, I now check feedback before I buy!

Man it sounds like there is some screwy ebayers! I try to be as honest as I can. If I know I wont be able to ship right away, I put it in my auction! (the post office is just down the street so there is really no excuse for that) So far, everything I've auctioned was paid quickly. I do the same when I purchase. What is some peoples problems?? :( Sorry to hear you are having troubles.

** I would have been mad at the 70 bucks too!

I'd say it's time to ask for your money back or an IMMEDIATE sending of the goods... over a month waiting time is ridiculous for any ebay sale - you're not supposed to take orders if you don't have a reasonable chance of filling them quickly! It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil, so it's time to start squeaking...

I had a similar experience with a seller early in th year. He then gave me a bad report on my habits saying that I expected everything to be perfect.

I never did get a even acceptable response like you fro Ebay themselves and it really annoyed me. I guess it is like so much, we have to take our chances and hope that their comments reflect their habits.

Shall i dare say "live and learn" (nothing against you as I tink there are several inhere this has happened to Cathy)

Best of luck!!

I made 10 greeting cards for a eBayer and stated quite clearly that it would take me two weeks to make them and ship them out. It wound up that I did them in a few days and shipped them immediately.

Communication is key to any business transaction and this eBayer you are doing business with can't quite get that.

You have been patient for longer than necessary. Unfortunately, I have used Paypal's dispute resolution twice. Once with Overstock.com (I will NEVER purchase from them again) and once with an ebay seller. Both times, they resolved my issue within days and my money was fully refunded.

You can also turn them into the fraud department of their police department.

I will never buy from overstock again either. Their customer service sucks and you can't return anything.
