Finished at last! Rainbow Page Kit

I don't do page kit swaps but I had to this month because one of my groups was due and this was the only swap suitable for me to use... I've slaved on them all week, and now I'm finally finished. I'm pleased with the end result but now I REALLY know why I don't do page kit swaps! Never again... Anyway, here they are...

> >you "should "be proud of what you did this kit!!!! it's lovey Thanks... I used the 'summer' stuff from Joanns. It's beautiful colours (especially the blue) but by the time I was finished with it I was thoroughly sick of it! I figured out that I had to cut and glue

200 3/4 inch squares for those embellishments!

They're from Joanns' 'Summer' stacks... I love the colours too, which was why I decided to use them. End tally was 5 sheets yellow cardstock, 4 sheets green, 3 sheets blue, and 5 sheets assorted patterned paper.

Karen, These are great! I have to agree with everyone so far, I love the color patterns. I can tell you put a lot of time and hard work into them. I am sure whoever gets them will love them.

Beautiful page kit. How many did you have to make? And do you get to eventually see what the recipient does with the kit?

We did the rainbow kit swap a while back. I would have loved to see what some of the others did with their kits. Sandy

It was a six-person swap so I thought it wouldn't be too much work to make... but then I also thought I had to make three items but I was confused - I had to make four things using three colours! And since my photo mats counted as 'mini' I had to make FIVE! So all in all it was a ton of work... it probably would have been easier if I'd had the money to run out and buy embellishments but I had to use what I had, which meant patterned paper, punchies, and brads. I had some pretty blue and yellow ribbons too but I didn't find a way to incorporate them... and no I probably won't get to see what anyone does with it - that group doesn't share end results much...

What a fabulous job Karen. It is a pity that you may not get to see how they are used as I think that they are just stunning. Thanks for sharing :) Take care, Marilyn
