First attempt at sharing my layouts

Apr 07, 2006 7 Replies

OK, my scanner won't fit a 12X12 page, so I guess I need a new scanner! Anyway, I took these with my digital camera and uploaded them to my webshots account. They're my first attempt, so be gentle with me! The album is called "Scrapbook Layouts" and is all the way at the end of the album list.

Denise, I use my digital camera to share to my webshots account too. I like the plaid paper you chose for the dedication LO and the stickers. It's great to use several photos on a page and I'm glad you are not afraid to crop your photos. I was so afraid to crop them when I first started, now I want to pull them off and cut off the unwanted parts to be able to focus in on the subject. My only suggestion would be to add some more journaling to you pages, or to journal on a tag and stick it behind one of the photos so years from now your children will be able to read about the event in your own words. Thanks for sharing. Sandy

You're right--I do need to journal more. It's just so not natural for me, but I'll keep trying! LOL

Great layouts Denise. I love the stickers you used on the dedication layout. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Denise! I take digital pics of my LO's too, my scanner wont scan a

12x12, and I dont have photo-stitching software either! I like your pages, and that you put multiple photos on each page! so many LO's you see in magazines only have one or two pictures that get lost in embellishments. I do have a suggestion when you upload your photos to webshots. You can crop them before you upload them righton the stie, so that more of your LO shows, than the background. Keep on posting those pages!! :-)
