Oh, So sweet. I also visited some of your other pages. The 3rd trimester was neat. I really liked the idea of the envelope for the Journaling. Irene/Fl

So very sweet! I found a poem today while I was surfing and thought of you with the new little boy... Here ya go:

Baby's Choice

Did you ever think, dear Mother,

As the seeds of me you sowed,

As you breathed new life inside of me

And slowly watched me grow,

In all you dreams about me

When you planned me out so well,

When you couldn't wait to have me there

Inside your heart to dwell,

Did you ever think that maybe,

I was planning for you, too,

And choosing for my very own

A mother just like you?

A mother who smelled sweet and who

had hands so creamy white,

A tender, loving creature

Who would soothe me in the night?

Did you ever think in all those days

While you were coming due,

That as you planned a life for me

I sought a life with you?

And now as I lay in your arms,

I wonder if you knew

While you were busy making me,

I was choosing you!

Dawn,

I love this page. Can I scrap lift the idea?? What does the poem say? I can only make out a few words. You are doing better than me. My little guy is 6 months old and I have not completed a page. I am still trying to finish my daughter's first year album. I am almost there.

Someday I'll jump through puddles, take a stroll or run a race. Someday I'll walk across the street or maybe walk in space. Someday I'll scale a mountain or I'll join a ballet corps. Someday I'll walk a tightrope or explore the ocean floor. Someday these feet will do some things that only heaven knows, but for today they're happy, just to wiggle all their toes!

That is so sweet- I love it!

I wish I had footprints from my baby. Get this, the hospital will no longer take footprints due to spread of infection(?!) so they gave us a black ink pad and a piece of paper. Well I got home and who knows where that went and that was the end of it!

I just love the 'baby parts' pages. Especially those little toes. With all the pics I took of my boys, especially my oldest, you would think I'd have some shots of his feet wouldn't you? Nopers lol. Of course I wasn't addicted to scrapping then either.

Your page is adorable and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your wee one.

Congrats and God Bless!

This page is so adorable Dawn!!! I did/do this with KAiley on her birthday every year, and it is amazing to see just how little they were!!! I am glad you are getting right down to work on getting Mathews pages done, because if you don't the time just sneaks away on you! And you end up with a box of his pictures/memorabilia when he is 3 years old! LOL Thanks for sharing, I am looking forward to watching him grow!

Great Page Dawn. I wanted to say that I love your bathroom. My DD would have to agree with you too :) She has this big rubber ducky that takes a bath with her. She's only 14 months old soon to be 15 months in 2 days and she can say a couple words but she does know how to say duck :) It comes out "duh" She should be talking a lot more by now but she's not LOL She's a very smart little girl just very stubborn about talking LOL :) In her own time I guess. That's how she is.When she wants to. Again I loved your pages.
