Storing 12x12 Paper

I'm just wondering how everyone stores their 12x12 paper. I just bought a plastic tote from wal-mart that I'm going to be able to stand everything it up in as well as put the lid onto, but wondering what everyone else does.

My partner made me a shelving uni to fit the 12x12 on one side the smaller pages on the other --- each pigeon hole is about an inch high and since we live on a very busy road with bad dust each pile of paper has a plastic sleeve over the top to prevent them being ruined by the dust. Shaz

Thanks guys! Was curious, as it seems like a hard thing to find organizers for, unless you want to spend money on the specialty scrapbook ones!

I have one of those plastic case things from Walmart too. I keep in it select paper and use it when go somewhere else to crop and it keeps it safe.

Like we covered in orgazing a couple weeks ago, if you have a BUNCH of it,go to Walmart or Office Depot and get one of those plastic milk crate like filing crates. They have a lip on the inside edge of them where file folders hang. Anyhow your 12x12 paper fits perfect in them and I seperate my colors, themes, etc with those file folders. In the folders I keep layout ideas, tips, etc, but better yet the folders could be used to hold your cut pieces or scraps of the paper.

Dave,

Do you put your 12x12 paper in folders in the crate and where do you get the folders to fit the 12x12 paper. I am picky about how I store my paper (since I have to be somewhat portable) and I just haven't found a way that I am happy with yet.

If anybody can suggest a container that I can file 12x12 paper in folders (like you would in a hanging file cabinet) and cover the container - I would be elated and gracious!!

I use a "rolling" file cart I purchased from Office Depot and I made my own 12 x 12 hanging file folders. I have instructions on how to make the 12 x 12 folders from 8.5" x 11" size hanging folders. If anyone wants the instructions email me and I'll send them on. Maureen in FL aka Smilingtooo :-) SMILE BE HAPPY :-)

I have a white wire organizer with three pull out trays (Top 2 about 3" deep and bottom one about 6") and a top tray. It sits on the file cabinet where I have my 8 1/2 X 11 paper and holds my 12 X 12. I got it a AC Moore and it's made by Provo Craft. They have several other styles. One has more drawers and another looks like mine but spins. Peggy
