Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all the congrats! Mike, Matthew and I just got home from the hospital and are getting settled (well, as settled as we can before the family all comes to see the baby....again).

story short (and I will update my website with the whole story thisweek), I started labor about 5:30 am on Thursday (21st). Called Mike home,and said, don't hurry, but this may be it. :) By the time we got to thehospital at about 10 am, I was at 5cm and contractions every 2 minutes.Unfortunately, 18 hours later,(Thank Heavens for EPIDURAL!) and as muchpitocin as I could handle, I was barely @ 7cm. There had been concern aboutthe baby's position, so the dr. recommended c-section. Mike and I agreed.So, at 11:44 pm, my little Matthew Conner joined the family officially. All is well - I'm feeling sore and tired, but not too bad (of course, they aren't stingy with the drugs, either!). Mike and I are scared and excited to start being parents on our own - so, wish us luck for our first full night...I'll keep you all posted!!
