Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all the congrats! Mike, Matthew and Ijust got home from the hospital and are getting settled (well, as settled aswe can before the family all comes to see the baby....again).Here are some pics. The page name has to be in caps, so try to just clickthe link for ease of use. Also, no time yet to resize, so if you click onthe thumbnails, the pics are huge! :) story short (and I will update my website with the whole story thisweek), I started labor about 5:30 am on Thursday (21st). Called Mike home,and said, don't hurry, but this may be it. :) By the time we got to thehospital at about 10 am, I was at 5cm and contractions every 2 minutes.Unfortunately, 18 hours later,(Thank Heavens for EPIDURAL!) and as muchpitocin as I could handle, I was barely @ 7cm. There had been concern aboutthe baby's position, so the dr. recommended c-section. Mike and I at 11:44 pm, my little Matthew Conner joined the family officially.All is well - I'm feeling sore and tired, but not too bad (of course, theyaren't stingy with the drugs, either!). Mike and I are scared and excitedto start being parents on our own - so, wish us luck for our first fullnight...I'll keep you all posted!!
