there are some new ones in all 3 sets. HUG pics are in Brady's set and the family set, and the pictures of the large Mariner's Compass top are in the sewing/quilting set.

Thanks Roberta and Irene (and Maureen in email!). It was based of a pattern in a magazine called "El Dorado" and they used greens, oranges, reds, and purples. If I can dig the magazine back out, I will tell you which one and what the date of it was...

In fact, it was mentioned in this group before!! It's the top left one on the page. I actually kind of like the original colors, just not for where we are thinking the large one will go.

The yellow/gold border was a pain in the booty because of the template not being a true and straight triangle...argh!!

The mini one is hand basted and ready for machine quilting....it is going to be entered in the county fair, which is early next month....and I have a couple other things in the works that need to be finished for entry....but most of what I'm entering are things that are already finished (fortunately). Still playing with the idea of entering things in the state fair, but not sure......
