Sorry to intrude, but I have a question I am hoping someone can answer.

My daughter bought me a pretty shirt that has the American Flag on, I have washed it, but never dried it, the stars are little silver stars that are glued to the shirt, they are all falling off, and I do not want to wear it as I would find that disrespectful to our flag.

Does anyone know what type of glue I can get to put these stars on again? I saved the stars, but am not sure what type of glue to buy or where to get it.

Hi Denise,

There is a type of glue called fabric tac. I've used it and it holds items on through the wash for YEARS. I've found it at Michaels in the glue section.

If you can't get those little stars glued on again you could replace them with the ones that have a hole in the center for sewing... it's really easy to stitch them onto a shirt using a little seed bead/pearl to hold them in place.
