My version of the Altoids Tin

The other post with the round altoids tin finally got me to make the one I've been planning on doing for months now. The glue still hasn't dried, which you'll see (I put a coat of modpodge over top for protection). But here it is:

I have a set of stamps that I bought at Walmart about a year ago. Forgot I had them, this is the first time I used them. :o) The velum literally got all bent out of shape when I covered the tin with the modpodge. At first I was upset but now I like how it turned out.

That is really neat! I'm going to have to add it to my list of future projects. Maybe somebody needs to make it a challenge. I seem to get more things done that way. Sandy

Somehow I missed the orginal post!!

I love you version of the tin!!! I have a whole box of the tins that I really need to get started on!

Did you sand the tin before getting started> How did you "prep" the tin? Please excuse the questions if you've already answered as I said, I missed the orginial post on this......

I must have missed it too. I would also like to know how to prep the tin - sanding? primer? Sandy

Hi Cleo. I like the looks of this. Really cute. Did you use the modpodge to glue everything down. Where do I find that at the craft store. Also, your round embellishment. Is that a bottle top flatten with a hammer.
