Great Scrapbooking buys today!

We ventured to Amarillo to take son to mall and eat for his birthday. We first stopped at burger king so Zen could play for 1 hour on the play equipment. Son and I went to hastings for me to get scrapbooking magazines and he got a t-shirt. Then off to Eat as a family at Red Lobster... was free... as I took so many surveys online I had 4 gift cards to use if needed. Then off to Micheals craft store. $1 bin goodies were more ribbons, rubber stamps, rhinestones, and then off to the clearance isle to get a few more goodies like heart shaped rhinestones for 10c a pk, 4 red sizzix dies for $5 each, 1 yellow one for $5 and one for $1, then one green one for $1. Also a hexagon coluzzle for Dave. I called him to tell him of the buys. Left there and took son to mall for one hour. We went to Jo-Anns and I got the new PET GLITTER pad, TRAVEL pad, NURSERY GLITTER pad, and SPRING GLITTER pad, 8 x 8 TRAVEL pad. mat stacks for the NURSERY, TRAVEL and PET ones, a glitter rub on pad for the spring set and 5 ribbons from their dollar bin, About the time Dave called back we were back at Burger King for another hour of play time for Zen. This time she got smart and when we said time to go she ran up the slide backwards and hid in one of the bubbles screaming "NO". We say lets go and she would kick and scream no... short but kinda funny. She and one other child were in there at the time. we tricked her and said "bye" and she came out and her bubba caught her. The temp today was very nice, then the wind came then down to 45 before we left town. snow was coming in and fast. Got home and it was just starting to snow in Amarillo. We got out just in time. Got everythign put away and now off to bed. see everyone tomorrow.

Fantastic shopping trip. I'd love to see the Nursery pack. We drove to Vincennes yesterday and I stopped at the Joann's there to get one, but they didn't have any. It's a real small Joann's and the scrapbook area is two short aisles. I love the one in Evansville - it's huge with a great scrapbook area. Sandy
