Hairspray alternative?

Ok, I know they'll probably yellow over time, but on some of the Christmas cards I've made, I used hairspray to keep glitter from flaking off. And on one, I printed onto some scrapbook paper that wasn't quite absorbent enough and the ink was smudgable, so I sprayed it to keep the ink on.

I wouldn't want to use it for scrapbook pages, because of the yellowing I've heard about, so is there a product out there that does the same thing but is scrapbook safe?

I would try one of the archival fixatives that they sell in art stores for pastel and charcoal drawings.

Thanks! I never even go to that part of the store, so I had no idea such a thing existed. I'll check it out.

Luna, I know several people have given you ideas. BUt thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I use workable fixative by Krylone. I get it at the craft stores, they sell it by the spray paint stuff.
