Hello everyone!

It's been a looooong time since I've stopped by RCS. I do miss it but reading through google is so crappy. Luckily I'm able to keep in touch w/ many of you on facebook. Haven't done any scrapping in ages but I'm starting to get the itch. April, I'm seriously contemplating the Rogers retreat. I just need someone else for the double occupancy room, maybe Kenda or Deb? (hint-hint) It seems all my crafty time is spent creating ATCs. I've got a list now that I need to make for swaps and private trades but they're fun so for the most part I don't feel any pressure.

Not much, if anything, has changed in my personal life. I'm still single and haven't had any babies since I was last here. lol My youngest niece graduated high school last year. She called today to say that she wants to take my mom and I out for dinner Monday. I can't imagine why, maybe it really is "just because". My other niece is expecting their second baby if everything goes smoothly. She lost one earlier in the year. I'll sign off here and try to check in and maybe even participate more often in the future. Take care all!

Thanks for checking in Katrina. Facebook can be kind of impersonal with little blips here and there. Nice to hear what you've been up too. Now you have to check back in next week and tell us what the dinner was all about. haha

Katrina, if you signed up already..... ask if they can put you with someone if you don't find someone by then.

Katrina its good to see you! It would be great for more of us to attend this retreat and I would love to see you again as I didn't really get to socialize as much as I wanted to at the Barn. Is there someone you could bring along with you to share a room? I also wonder if there can be three to a room? If that is possible, you could bunk with me and Sandy?

Katrina,

I'll be glad to either sleep on a rollaway or even bring my air mattress. I figure the room is just for sleeping as we'll spend all of our time at the crop.

i agreee..... just call PAT at croppintrain and ask to bunk with sandy and Linda until you find a roommate. I'm sure they'll work with ya. Our room had a couch in it and 2 queen beds.... should be plenty of room!

I sent an email to Croppin Train and inquired about the three to a room questtion, and also about making payments on the cost of it instead of the one lump sum. This is the response I got! "Linda,

We are so excited too. It seems so far away but it will be here before we know it.

You can make smaller payments three ways:

  1. mail checks to PO Box 982; Bentonville, AR 72712

  1. use the "make a deposit" paypal button and just add in the notes "payment"

  2. To send a payment for any amount, using PayPal, click on "Send Money" and send the payment to snipped-for-privacy@aol.com. In the comments section of this payment, put in your name and "payment".

It is possible to have three people share a room. All rooms have two queen beds and one couch that pulls out to a bed. Dora

That's cool! Thanks for inquiring Linda. When I saw it was Embassy Suites and had two rooms I kinda figured they'd have a hide-a-bed in the "living" room. I'm going to ponder it a few more days but I want to get in before the end of the month and get the extra giftie for being an early bird, if I do. It would be so cool if some others could join in too. Hey everybody check it out!
