I'm home

The Barn was a huge success and I had a great time. I'm exhausted after a week and the barn and flying all day. My family picked me up at the airport. My husband had my favorite Caffeine Free coke on ice and a cup of ice for me to enjoy once we got to the car. I was SO thirsty it was a great surprise. We ate a lot of fine Mexican food at the barn per our request for Cinco de Mayo. Tonight though when my family suggested Mexican on the way home I said no I'd like some Chinese. haha

I doubt I'll even unpack my suitcase tonight (BTW April my suitcase weighed

57 pounds:)). Tomorrow I'll unpack and upload the photos I have. Everyone was taking so many that I figured pretty much everything was covered and I could get copies. I tried to take a few that I thought other people weren't getting. Like I got the only one of the Limo.

YAWN! I'm finally on Indiana time and now I'm back in California. hahaha I'm off to bed.

Glad to see you made it home safely. With so many of the group having such great cameras I figured I could get some great shots as they shared. I have not yet unpacked the bag with the camera. Everytime I go somewhere I bring in another bag and unpack it. That way I'm not swamped in my office with everything at once. As soon as I find it, I will upload my pictures too. Sandy

Glad you made it home safely. I downloaded my pictures to my computer but that is as far as I got. I worked on the baby shower invitations for most of the Monday evening. Hopefully I will be done with those tonight (Tues) and have a chance to post the pictures on Wednesday.

I can't wait to see everyone pictures.

I got my clothes unpacked, but that's only cause I needed stuff out of them..lol I think I may have figured out how to download ya'lls pictures..cool. There are some really great shots. I'll try to get mine done tonight. I'm trying to spend time with hubby since he's leaving this weekend for two weeks. I had so much fun at the barn...loved meeting all of ya'll.

Yeah I ended up unpacking my suitcase too, because I thought the only clean underwear I have is in the suit case. As I put them away in my drawer to my shock... and horror I saw that hubby did laundry while I was gone. I was shocked that he even did it and then also in horror wondering what got shunk, bleached, and or otherwise mutitlated with his laundry techniques. Ahhhh what the heck I don't have 8 loads to do to day and I'll just count my blessings.

I'm glad you made it back smoothly. I did notice that you left your water in the car but it was to late then.

I KNOW! I noticed that I picked up my empty bottle not wanting to leave trash in your car and left the full one! OH well I said, "I'm on vacation and I'm not pinching pennies!" and bought another at the airport. I'm sorry you had to leave early, but I really enjoyed getting to know you better.

I really enjoyed it to... inbetween the cat naps i took on one day for sure. When everyone left for the LSS for the 50-75% of sale i stayed there cause I had already been there the day before. I was dozing in and out of sleep at my table surfing the net. I actually fell asleep and my arm slipped off the table and out of my seat i went and "whew"" glad no one was there for that shot!!!...lol

I was the last to leave the barn. I am so sorry M-C and Deb... I wanted to hug ya's good-bye but i couldn't stay awake. I wen back to the room and slept for another hour. I got up and Craig was gone but not far, he was across the street. He come back loaded my stuff and off to the airport we went. We made a few stops like picking up his boat at his house, getting gas, and driving thru his place of business. I saw a spot of houses where the tornando came thru a week earlier too.

Got to the airport about 12:30-1pm and my large suitcase weighed 65lbs. I had to pay the $25 overweight fee. THe other was super light like 20 lbs. I bought a few INDY 500 things in the mini-airport mall while I waited. I ate asian food for lunch. Then off to my gate and slept in my chair again for an hour. Well when i got to Houston it wasn't as easy as it was going to Indiana. I had to walk the 1/2 mile to the other gate!!! no walking escalater(sp?). But i made it in time. Got in to Amarillo at 7:45pm and we went to red lobster to eat. My daughter was just a bowl full of smiles, giggles and laughs when i got her.

My husband said he wants to come next time cause he thinks I had to much fun!.... Maybe Craig can rent the cabin by the river for the husbands and kids....??? next time!!!
