I'm in Heaven, paper Heaven!
OOHHH!! Sorry i was just dreaming and lolling along. Didn't realize I was HERE and still singing!!! LOL!
As ya'll can see I am home - finally since the 4th except for one quick over niter. I got back Sunday evening and have been sicker than a dog, even though I am in heaven!! (Alright I know some of you are thinking, DROOLING like a ole dog!)
So thought I would post this really really really great thread about ONE of my stops!!!!!! I also just found out do not have to leave tonite to go to San Antonio and Houston. YIPPEEE!! Some time to get in here amongst those who ENABLE me an take my turn to get ya back!!!!
Last week I was in Destin, FL area (panhandle east of Pensacola). For those that do not know the area, it really is beautiful with nothing to do but see the beach, shop, see the beach, shop, golf, shop, see the beach - LOL! Anyhow I have NEVER anywhere seen as many factory outlet stores in any one place, including the area north of San Antonio!!!! So with the yucky weather there last week during the two days we had off, I shopped.
OF COURSE, guess what one of the stores was?? YEP, A Scrapbook Outlet store!!! OMG, I was in Heaven!!! Everything was 50% off and I had a blast, err I should say my budget and spending money I had allocated for the rest of the month BLASTED off!!!! I am in Heaven!!!
Now are ya'll ready for this? FIRST, ya'll better sit down, get out a hankie, or if you prefer your scissors, cutting boards and adhesives to glue whatever you can get ahold of to ME! I say that because I think I have most all the shoes anyhow after the last jabs!!! (plus I MAY NEED all YOUR tools - hee hee!)
Remember those special paper types that I was looking for, well Thank you Kate and Trish and whoever else for attempting to help, but I helped myself!!! LOL! I now have a HEALTHY stash of gigham and checked and plaid paper patterns in MANY colors, especially black!!! I am in Heaven!!!
I not only bought paper in the store, though that was the mostest thing I got. The lady there told me she had to admit she never saw anyone as happy about the paper as I was, AND I was not the only person to go nuts like I did, and others have spent more.
OK, OK, OK!! I bought 1100 sheets of paper, 300 in 8x11 and 800 in
12x12. I am in Heaven! (oh so sory just can not get that song or thought out of my mind!)So I am in Heaven - oh, now wondering where in the name of a big overgrown fat paper Floozy, i am going to put all my paper! My poor cabinet is overstuffed and I desperately now need a new, bigger, better model!!!!
BETTER YET, who wants to come to my house for a great paper crafting time!!!!???? I also have lots of paper to try out my new Zipe Cuts machine on too.
