Dear All,
I wanted to extend a warm and public thank you to those of you who thought of me and sent me emails over the last month. A very special thank you also to Sandy for letting you guys know that things have been tough.
Things are still very hard at home, we are still fighting to have T returned to our care full-time. I am baffled to think that these people involved are actual "professionals" and that they honestly have no idea what is going on in the lives of their "cases".
I see T once a week and have contact twice a week on the telephone, which is all I can hold on to at the moment. We are still going through the Courts, and are hopeful for a positive outcome sooner rather than later. It's been really tough on DH and I lately.
I've made the decision to return to work on a p/t basis for now, just to try and get a bit of normality back into my routine (not to mention to improve the $$ situation). Luckily for me, working for the govt means that I have a good job waiting for my return. I've spoken to my manager and she is helping me get the ball rolling there, and I should be back on deck within the next week. I'm looking forward to some adult company and to keep my mind busy.
My family and friends held a beautiful 30th party for me last month, it was a Medieval theme and everyone got dressed up. I'll add pics to webshots soon.
I have so many messages to read.... I will try to get through them all slowly, but surely.
I will post whenever I get the chance, and try to keep up (yeah right...lol).
I'm so jealous of y'all at the Barn this weekend.... have a great time and pass some hugs around for me ok?
