I want a sizzix!

Yesterday I spent the evening round a friends house playing with her sizzix.

I want one SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! I cut a load of labels and camera- film-mount-thingys and a few other bits and pieces. I cut some titles for a couple of pages I have in my head. Then she got out her embossing pads and I did a load of witches a few frames and other bits (but mostly witches they were so cute).

THEN not to be content she got out another box full of punches and a funny embossing thing that looks like a old fashioned mangle but embosses hearts all over a piece of paper or card - that was really cool!

She has so much card making stuff I swear she could start a shop. And she says I can go and play again soon!

Trouble is now I want my own! :-)

I have a sizzix and several dies and just love it. I'm looking into the embossing set. But our local Michaels doesn't have it.

LoL Ally! You crack me up! Sounds like you had a great time. The lady at my lss keeps inviting me to come and "play" with her sizzix machine, but I haven't tried it yet. (truth is, I'm scared I'll break it...lol) You've made me very curious now...I might just try it.

I tried the sizzix at a class and was hooked! Had to have it! I used a

50% off coupon at joanns and now I'm building my die supply. My next ones will be an alphabet set. Lin

It is possible to break a Sizzix...cause the one i first bought had cracks on the top of the handle on both sides..i took it back and got a new one..checked it out first.. It must of been dropped or packed with too much weight on it when shipped or at the store..

The AVERAGE person may not be able to break a Sizzix, but believe me, YOU CAN WEAR OUT the cutting pad FAST! Just ask April - LOL!

nada for 05 (unless redoing or adding to some pages counts!)

DH bought me a Sizzix for Mother's Day 2004 and I'm still die-less. LOL With the moves and what-not, money for die cuts just had to wait. But wonderful, dear, sweet, MC...the enabler that she is....loaned me 4 of her Sizzlits sets this week! I'm having so much fun cutting away that I might not get a whole lot of scrapping done this week. LOL Next task...start a Sizzix/lit wishlist!

That's Mc'nabler to you, Deb! HaHaHa!!! I'm glad you're having fun with the dies and the sizzlits. Oh and your DH doesn't even know where the scraproom is and then there is that other room I showed you where he will never ever find you!
