Introduction

Hi everyone...

I posted to the skinnie minnie swap and someone suggested I introduce myself, so I guess I will!

My name is Sue and I live in California. My husband and I just bought our first condo, so we'll be moving to Simi Valley right after the first of the year. My family consists of me, my husband and my two cats.

I have been scrapbooking for a few years off and on, but really got to doing it seriously and regularly about six months ago. I am part of a couple of scrapping groups locally and although my schedule is tough to schedule in crops, I love participating in the swaps and also like the crops whenever I can make it.

I've just started card making and I'm still not very good at it, but the pictures you all supply have been great examples!

I'm looking forward to being a part of such an active group with so many great ideas. I am sitll working on improving my scrapping and scraplifting allows me to try new things I would never think of otherwise!

Looking forward to meeting/getting to know all of you!

Thanks again everyone...I've already been excited to see how active you all are. I definitely need the challenges and I can't wait until I can participate in some of the swaps. I will definitely start taking some pictures of the things that I do. I have some pictures of a clipboard I made a few weeks ago that I gave as a Christmas present, but I have not been very good at taking pics of my cards and tags. I will start though!

Can't wait to get home (traveling for holidays right now) and get started. My MIL got be a xyron for Christmas with adhesive, magnet and just laminating cartridges. I can't wait to use it. And my SIL got me a great scrapbooking book that I can't wait to use for projects as well...so, now I'm itching to get home and use them. I also am going to set up a scrapping area in our new place - so, I've been organizing and sorting things trying to get them ready for the move and ready to use as soon as I get there.

Hope you all had a great holiday or are having a great holiday season!

Welcome, Sue!

I'm also traveling for the holidays & also from the L.A. area. Used to live in the Valley & worked in Woodland Hills & Chatsworth (both near Simi Valley for those unfamiliar with the area). Now I live & work in the L.A. basin side of L.A.

Also, I'm one of the few (if not the only) strictly digital scrapper here.
