This is the first month I'm participating. I did 5 cards (uploaded 3). I would like to do at least 5 per month - so I might do a few more next weekend. I used the scraps left over from the LO I did yesterday.

in the "Lynne's Christmas Card Challenge" Album I used white cardstock - just incase it does not show up clearly :)

Thanks for looking.

Pretty cards, Judy. I also need to try to use more of my scraps as I go to cut down on the extras.

Sandy

Yeah for joining the challenge. Your cards look great!

Lynne

Nice cards Judy! I have yet to even start mine! Yay for you in joining the challenge. I am so glad I got a head start this year. What language is used for the script on your cards? just curious!

Linda

I always feel too bad to through away the scraps, but never use them! So I'm really gonna make an effort. Thanks for looking Sandy :)

Thanks Lynne! I had fun making them :)

The language is Afrikaans, which is my first language, although I'm fairly bi-lingual. Afrikaans is a mixture of Dutch and French. Very similar to Flemmish (the language of Belgium). We are about 5 million South Africans with Afrikaans as first language :) I used "rub ons" for the text. We're lucky to get Afrikaans one's in our local Scrapbook shops!

I also think this is a great challenge - I always put the X'mas cards off for too long and then there's a mad dash at the end!
