I ran out of black cardstock and had to make a Walmart run last night. While waiting to check out I noticed these little tins with candy in them. They are about 2.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide and an inch deep with little purple plastic handles on them. The ones I bought had sweet tarts in them and they were $0.96 per tin. I'm thinking they would be easy to alter and use for holding minibooks etc.

What a cute idea. I'm looking for little tins to use for games. I want to alter them and put in plastic caps or chips with colors, animals, photos, etc. glued in the caps for my preschoolers for sorting and matching.
I was at a new LSS on Saturday and my DD found a mini acrylic album about 2" square on a key chain. It had three chipboard pages inside two acrylic pieces. She made it at the crop that afternoon. It was so cute.
