Great Day Part 1

Yesterday was *definitely* a great day. Full of surprises for sure.

First I get home and when I asked DH if I got any mail he said "Oh you scrapbooker!", which translated means "what did u buy now?". I inmediately said "I swear I didn't buy anything!" and then I saw a box w/a cow label. Then I knew I had been RAK'd by April. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!!!!!

I loved everything in the box and like Tracy said, I'm amazed at how much fits in a little box like that.

Among other things: Thanksgiving diecuts, a halloween minibag (sooo cute) w/the cutest mini-tins I've ever seen. Where did u get these things? One is a little orange hard candy tin about as tall as a cigarrette but is soooo thin! The other one is a tiny little box of sour candy. Sooooo tiny and soooooo cute!!! Can you tell I like these things? ;) That's why my house is full of tins of all sizes, shapes and colors. I LOVE THEM.

Going back to the box... Brown, purple and orange yarn. All perfectly coordinated for a Thanksgiving page. You are way too cool!

Then a bag full of goodies: Foamies of different shapes and colors, wooden tokens (really, where do you get this stuff?), buttoms, lace and more and more embelishments! My fave was the little tiny wooden token. It's this penny-size red token. Thank goodness there are no kids in this house or I'll have to keep this stuff away from them =)

I got my $1 bill which confused me at first, 'cause I thought it was money for postage for *my* RAK package. LOL. I knew we send money to the hostess of a swap, so then I thought maybe April got confused and sent me the money. =) ....THEN I saw the stamp all around the bill

I think I got to that site from April's website. It tracks where your bills go. I entered mine already. Are we supposed to send it to another person in the group? Just wondering....

Cont...Sorry this is sooo long, but I got a really great present: MORE MONEY!!!!

Yes. You read it here first. April sent me money. Only these bills are foreign currency. I collect this as well, you know. The bills are from Cambodia, Burma, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Bulgaria, Zaire, Kazakhstan, Uzberistan (had to look up those last 2 in an atlas) and Ukraine. THANK YOU!!!! The Ukraine one was extra special for me because I have friends from there who live here, but didn't bring any of their bills w/them =( When they went to visit they forgot again, but brought me tons of postcards and one of them has the same picture on the back of this bill. (Do I see a LO here?).

Can you believe there's more? Beautiful papers, sunflower stickers (my fave flower) and hand stitched bookmarks. These are beatiful!!!! I specially love the one that reads "I don't do mornings" LOL. I think I'm taking this one for my desk at work.

Thanks again for everything you sent. The list too. You really didn't have to mail a copy to each one of us: WE ARE TOO MANY. =)

This was my first RAK and definitely an awesome one. I appreciate your putting so much thought into the things you picked for each one of the lucky ones who got RAK'd. From what I've read, everyone got something specially bought/made for them, like my tins, the sunflower stickers/decals and the bills from overseas.

Your surprise made my day, but little did I know it was just starting...
