LO's posted!

Well, I think I finally have some up on webshots. This is my first stuff I did. I did these about a year ago. It is of our house construction. When I look back at some of these pages at the beginning of the book, I can tell I've learned alot since then. I'm working on getting my new pages up. I'm not done with all the titling and journaling yet. But at least I'm getting stuff up.

Please let me know what you think and any tips or ideas on what I could do better. Thanks for looking. The link is at the bottom.

What a wonderful account of how your house took shape Shannon! The geometrical shapes and "tool embelishments" tie in beautifully with the theme of building. Well done!

Like many I am facinated by house building. What a great way to remember everything you did and the embelishments work really well with the pictures. I kept on waiting for the next page to load. Will we get to see a picture of the finished outside in a future layout?

Thank you. Actually on page 4 at the top there is a picture of the outside. I haven't done any pages yet with the inside all done and decorated or the outside. I need to do that and add to the book. It seems like when I want to take a picture of the inside it always seem messy. Or the outside needs mowed and weed eated.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I skipped that! Thanks for letting me know! It really is a big and very nice looking home. Funny how it the pictures it looks a little like it's light green in one picture and gray in another. Is it gray?

No, it's actually a tan. I never notice. I'll have to look. That is funny.

What a great way to remember your house! And future generations will enjoy being able to look back and see all the hard work that was put into it. The embellishments really add to it, too. Thanks for sharing with us!

Shannon, That's one album that will bring back memories! It really follows the construction story well and looks great. Two years after my husband and I got married we bought the house my grandparents moved into after they got married. It had two bedrooms, three other rooms, and a tiny bathroom. We remodeled for 21 years on that house. when we sold it - it had five bedrooms, two baths, and a laundryroom in addition to the livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and closed in front porch. After we sold the house and moved out I did a walk-through and took pictures of every room. I am still not able to scrapbook those pictures. Two of our children grew-up in that house, graduated from high school and left home from there. It has great memories, but it's still hard to look at. We love the home we're in now and it was a family owned home too. I think I am too sentimental - couldn't keep them both! I wish you as many great memories in your home. Sandy

2 1/2 very long years. My husband and I both worked full time. So the only time to work on it was evenings and weekends. Plus we had our 2nd child while building the house. So I wasn't much help. We aren't all the way done. We still have some trim to put up. Usually winters we try to do a little when he isn't so busy with work.

Shannon - what fun to look at! I loved the progression, it was like reading a story, I wanted to see what happened next. It's also neat to see your own progression in finding your scrapbooking style. I recognize all the creative memories stuff too! :) Thanks for sharing!
