Looking for Precision Paper Cutter for Small Objects

Sep 10, 2008 1 Replies

Can someone recommend a rotary paper trimmer for straight edge cutting that will cut extremely straight and precise on very small objects (like labels)? We have a Dahle 550 which is very good for cutting larger pieces of paper like a photo. But it completely falls short when cutting precision labels that have a dimension like 1/4 inch by 2 inch. Holding the small label in position is a real challenge with the Dahle.

I would like to avoid a guillotine design if possible, particularly when operating with such small dimension labels.

Any recommendations for precision small paper cutting are appreciated.

hmmmm I'm going to have to think about this as you've ruled out the guillotine design, which I use. I have to admit though if I want to cut a

1/4 inch it can be tricky when getting that small.
