Lunch Bag Album Challenge - Additional Info

OK, somehow I gave the impression that it had to be for your mom or dad... I don't have those either so I am sorry, I meant that it would be a great time to make one. You can make it to give a friend, or a co-worker, as a birthday gift, a housewarming , baby shower, bridal shower, wedding present and so on... Sorry if I made it confusing! If you are making it as a gift, then you have to have places to put 6 pictures!

You can even make it if you'd like without pictures and donate it to a charity. OR those of us without parents could make friendship ones and swap them...

If you are interested in swapping yours, let me know... what I'll do is give each person an address to send their book to. Just a thought...

Hope that works better for everyone!

And no, I was actually kidding, you do not have to put 1.5 paper bags on the alternate layout either. But you do have to use 1/2 of the supplies stated for the album.

hahaha you got me on the last one... I really did think you had to put paper bags in the album. Funny how we all interpret things our own way.

One question about the paper bag albums. I somehow doubt they're acid free. So is there a way to make them acid free? Or would that even be an issue if you mat the photos?

The paper bags are *not* acid free. I am guessing you could maybe spray them on all sides with Archival Spray to protect from acidity but that would be very expensive and I think the whole point of the paper bag album is supposed to be inexpensive and shabby chic. I am just going to use duplicate photos on mine and not even worry about it. The albums are probably going to be delicate anyhow already. It still would be an issue if you mat your photos as the acid in the paper bag transfers to the cardstock mats and then to your photos.

Deb, Check the bags with one of the acid check pens. You would be surprised to see how many are acid free. Sandy
