made a spelling mistake AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

Hey, I just finished a page and then saw a spelling mistake. I would redo it but I have put some Creative Memories stickers on and I dont want to wreck them. I printed it on a heavy vellum with an ink jet printer. Any ideas would be great. (by the way my name is tammie, I was more involved with the group last year but havent posted for a while) Thanks!!!

I wouldn't worry about it. We'll all tell you it's okay and then when we show your pages to our friends, family and co-workers (I took my album of recipe swaps to work yesterday), I'll point out your typo. LOL I'm just kidding. Honest. Don't worry about a typo. It makes it more home made and we'll love it just the same.

I have found the same thing, most people don't notice unless you point it out. Except my sister who notices everything. What are sister for anyway, lol.

Is it a word that could be emphasized by putting an opaque paper identical word over it spelled correctly? You could do several random words over if there are more so it looks intentional. If it is just one letter how about the same idea, gluing an opaque letter over a few of the letters, or every other letter? Could you get part of the word onto a matching sticker and stick it over part of the word? Perhaps taking in several of the letters?

Just a few thoughts.

You know what most people wouldn't even notice it, but something like that drives me nuts. So, I can see why you'd want to fix it. My friends would tell me leave it nobody will notice, but I get possessed and have to fix it. Can you cut the stickers out (cut around the outside edge of the stickers)... reprint the vellum and then glue the stickers back on? Just an idea.

You could get some Undo and use it to remove the stickers. When they dry they will still be sticky so you could put them back on after you reprint the text.

If you've just finished the page and have the creative memory multi tool, you might try to lift the stickers up. I know I used to go back and redo pages all the time. Now if I've made the page for myself, I figure posterity will know me the way I am, flawed! LOL!

Is that the little plastic tool thta looks like a little spatula on both ends, one bigger than the other? That's a pretty nifty tool.
