Oh my gosh, that is so georgeous! You have set a high bar for the rest of us! Honest it's jaw dropping pretty. I've added the link you provided with the picture and the directions to the challenge website. Thanks for finding those!
Good gals always finish first.......ROFLMHO Shhhh............What's that noise..........arggh.....it is the missing boomerang whizzing through the air......I am off to take cover............byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Sabrina...I sent through a link to another Star Book which is a little different to mine but also nice. If you want to make one same as mine I will see if I can write some instructions that as easy to follow.
Thank you M-C....I am glad that you like it. I hoped that the instructions with pictures may be of additional help to some of our friends who like visual clues, along with the written instructions. Regards, Marilyn
Lorilee......Glad you like my Star Book but just remember that mine is a little different to Sandy's instruction and the one on the link I sent through. I didn't try Sandy's but I am sure there will be similarity between it and the one on the link I gave. Mine's has cut-outs so the stand out like in some birthday cards. It gives it additional dimension. If you want to use it like and album for pictures and journaling....use the one on the link. If you are thinking decorative...try doing the cut-outs. It is really pretty!!!
M-C....here is a different take again on the Star Book but it looks as if there are photos added to make it more like and photo album. This would make a great small gift album for a special occasion i.e. a baby's birth, christening, wedding anniversary and the possibilities are endless. Just make sure you use acid-free card and paper if they are a keepsake item :o)

and here is a downloadable pdf file of another example. These are all a little different but very pretty in there own right. I thought that people may prefer one type to the other...depending on what they would use it for. Marilyn
If good girls always finish first, then I must be a very bad girl because I'm always finishing last. LOL Now stop with this finishing-early nonsense, Marilyn. You're making the rest of us look bad! LOL
Wow Marilyn! You've found all kinds of great star book instructions. You go girl! :-) But thanks for finding all those. I think I'm going to go with the paper bag album this month, but definately save the instructions for a star album for some time in the future. Thanks for finding all the links!
Thanks Melissa....I thought about adding pictures but there really is not much room using the cut-out method. They would need to be passport size to fit the available space. I am doing a bigger one for a friend and plan to use photos on that. I think the best one for photos really would be the link I sent through from splitcoaststampers.com The pages on that are flat...it is the way you stick each layer that creates the star effect.
Glad I could help with alternative resources, as everyone has different ways of working and there is sure to one that will fit the bill. I am looking forward to seeing folks paper bag albums...so hurry up please....I am impatient...LOL

LOLOLOL.......you said it Deb......*roaring with laughter* You is a bad girl....bad, bad, bad....hehehe! Now I'm done....I have all month to play with nice things from my Paper Wishes kit that came today and my new purchases from QVC from Wednesday and more bought today......you will just drag your heels then have to hurry to finish your challenge at the end of the month...so there!!!!!!
I resemble that remark. LOL I look at it this way....I just let the thoughts and ideas stew in my mind until I'm ready to take them out. My mind works like a crockpot (slow cooker) instead of a microwave.
