My 3 layouts for 2006

I finally scanned and uploaded the 3 layouts I did last week. Two are in Jordan's album, Oodles of Noodles & Pony Ride. The 3rd layout is in Elizabeth's album, Pony Ride. Now that I think of it, Jordan's pony ride is actually titled "Cowboy Jordan" and Elizabeth's is "Ride em cowgirl". Oh well! I'm working on uploading the rest of the layouts for my parents' album, so it may be a while before Yahoo lets you see anything. Just keep checking!

The rest of the layouts for Mom & Dad's album are up. I seem to be missing a scan of one layout...uh oh! I'll have to keep checking on my computer and the CD I have as a backup to see if it's there. If not, I'll get it from Mom. Hmmm....guess I should feed the family now. LOL

Very cute LO's. I have a spaghetti LO with both of my kids at young ages. Spaghetti night was always bath night. hahaha

Love your layouts Deb. The pony rides look like lots of fun. Jordan is so cute with spaghetti sauce all over his face. He looks very pleased with himself.

Thanks Lynne. DH said I forgot to mention on the layout that the bath water was orange. I told him any mother would know that from experience. LOL

Thanks Cathy. The kids really loved their pony rides, and I wanted that to show in the layouts. Yep, DS was very pleased with his spaghetti! LOL

Hi Deb,

What a messy face in your Oodles of Noodles page, definately the perfect paper choice with all the washing along the bottom - great job! I also love all the cowboy embelishments you have used on your riding pages - we don't get much cowboy stuff in this country, but I guess that stands to reason.

Regards

Love the 3 LO's Deb :o) The Oddles of Noodles is fabulous.....LOLOL Perfect pics for that! Just a small thing that took my eye on Cowboy Jordan....you have used upside down horsehoes for the O's......argggh!!!! It is bad luck to suspend a horseshoe that way up as all the luck drops out!!!!!! Turn them the right way up and add a string on a brad or a nailhead......or ignore my superstition :o)

Great job! Deb. I love that laundry wheel. It's on my wish list. Reminds me of the laundry wallborder at Lowe's. My laundry ares is in the basement, but I love the border so much I wanted to put it in the kitchen. DH vetoed the idea. When I see it I can close my eyes and smell fresh clean laundry snapping in the breeze. Sandy

Thanks Susanne. The bird was definately a challenge for me. But I'm glad with the way it turned out.

Thanks Andrea. He was definately proud of his messy face. LOL The washing is actually a rolling stamp from Stampin' Up. I just colored in the clothes. I'm happy with the pony ride pages. Most of the cowboy embellishments are cardstock stickers. DH helped me pick them out last summer when we found the jean and red papers. I saw those jean & red bandana papers and had to have them for these layouts.

Thanks Marilyn. That messy face is now 4. *sigh* Ooops....I didn't know that about the horseshoes. Well, I have more bad news. They won't come off. (Good sticker adhesive I guess.)

Thanks Sandy. It just seemed to fit with the layout. I actually borrowed it from MC, and it was her idea to use it. She has all the good ideas! LOL

Thanks Cec. I don't know why, but most of my titles are big and along the top or side. I really need to start thinking 'out of the box' so to speak and play with my titles more. Scraplift away though!

Deb...if you want to try and get them off try warming the page from behind. I did that to get the remaining photos out of those magnetic albums. Nothing would release the adhesive and dental floss was cutting into the picture backing so I sat the page on the radiator for five minutes or so and they just peeled right off. You could probably even save the stickers and re-use them :o) If they are Mrs Grossman's clear backed stickers you can remove them with an adhesive pick-up square.

Al of them are so cute, Deb! That sure is a happy Jordan in the Oodles one, and I like how you did the title. But I really love the cowbow look of the two pony layouts. And of course, I always think that journalling is a must, even though there are times when I don't do all that much of it!
