I must have accidently threw away my cricut scrapper when I was cleaning up. I am using my nylon pan scraper from the Pampered Chef but it doesn't work as well as the one that came in the tool kit. They have been out of stock at the Cricut website and they don't answer emails as to when they will become available. Has anyone seen the scraper packs anywhere else online?
I have been thinking about getting a Cricut, but wanted to talk to someone who has one before I get one. I guess what I want to know are the pros and cons. What do you like about it, what don't you like about it? Is it easy to use?
I love my Cricut, it cuts beautifully and there are lots of options with each cartridge. It is very easy to use. It doesn't hook up to the pc (that's a pro or a con depending on your needs) The cons are it takes alot of table room as you need to have 12 inches in front of it and the back of it for the cutting mat. The other con is that I love different fonts and you are limited to the cartridges available while other cutters can use any font on your pc. For what I spent on the machine and cartridges so far I could have gotten a wishblade. Also with the wishblade there are lots of free files in the yahoo groups that you can download and use while the Cricut although having a usb port can not be used with the computer.
I was lucky enough to get a Cricut for $190 about a week before Michaels officially launched them in the stores by asking for it and then using a 40% off coupon. Michaels won't allow you to use the coupon anymore. If I were going to buy one today I would buy it at QVC since you get an extra cartridge that is not available anywhere else (except for ebay but at a hefty premium).
Thanks for the info. I have a friend that has a wishblade and just loves it. I've been trying to decide between the two and I'm leaning towards getting the wishblade. Just need to save some $$.
