need opinions

Hi all, I am new to this group, but need advice.

Does anyone use the Crop in Style P3 to store paper? Currently I am using wire shelving, but with a 2 yr old that is very helpful, it is not as safe (from the 2 year old's crayons) as I would like. My only other idea is to stack it in a single pile in a coat closet. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I use one of those wire drawer-type closet carts. The drawers are

15"x15", so it works well. I have scrapping friends to use the vertical storage that is sort of like magazine holders, and they like it a lot. It's expensive, though, so I haven't indulged. I do know that WalMart has an Iris storage cart with 15"x15" drawers (IIRC it's a three-drawer cart) that might work well for you, and it's under $20.

Good luck. Finding crayon marks on your Bazzill paper must be majorly frustrating!

Welcome to RCS! I don't have the Crop in Style, but I understand about keeping paper away from little ones. Part of my paper is in the upright paper holders, kind of look like a magazine holder. The other part of my paper is in plastic drawers. Between the two, I like the upright paper holders. I've often thought about investing in one of the rolling carts made for scrapbook paper, but not too sure if I have room for it in my craft room. I think it all depends on how you want to organize your paper.

I have two kids, ages 7 and 4. When they were about 5 and 2, I swear...they got into everything! We had a fish tank at the time. The food was kept up on a high shelf, but they still managed to reach it. At one point, I thought about just hanging baskets from the ceiling and putting things I didn't want them to have out of their reach. LOL

I bought a few dozen of those clear craftkeepers they sell at AC Moore and Michaels when they were on sale. I divided my stash into colors and patterns and holidays etc. and store all my paper in the craftkeepers. All the packs fit perfectly in a clear sterlite container (it is about 14in wide and 16 inches tall so I can put the lid on it). It is not as nice as using those vertical paper storage holders but it is easy to find exactly what I am looking for and a heck of a lot cheaper than trying to obtain the same number of cropper holder folders.

Are the shelves on wheels, if so you could put that in the closet?
