new cardstock and new layouts

I finally found some reasonable priced cardstock. It was 19 EUR for 50 sheets wich is 38 cents per sheet and a really good price. I therefore bought 150 sheets and think I'm all set now :)

With all my new stuff I did some more layouts and I changed some things on my first layout. I like it a lot more now. Here are they:

Susanne,

You have done a great job on the LO's :o) I like the additions to your first LO....they make it look more warm & homely...if you know what I mean....LOL The LO of the marriage #1 is just beautiful! The patterned vellum overlay is gorgeous and makes everything have that soft focus......love it!!!!. Your two page wedding #2 LO is also inspiring. Wow...what a lot of journalling!!!! Great work and I look forward to seeing more. I haven't scrapped for months but I have been making cards :o)

Take care, Marilyn

Very pretty Susanne! The strip and ribbon you added to your first layout looks great. The vellum over the 1st wedding layout really does make it seem like it happened a long time ago. Great job!

Thanks Marilyn! I'll hopefully post some more layouts soon. The album must be done at the end of november. So I'll have to do a lot more pages. Just can't figure out how to do it faster. Every page takes me at least one day. :)

Thanks Cathy! I wasn't too sure about the vellum overlay in the first place. But now I think it turned out great.

Thank you Dave! Those two picture are the only ones of this wedding. I don't know how this could happen. So I thought it would be a nice idea to include the cards. I think the pocket with the picture of the new family works great for that.

Thanks Deb! I didn't want that this wedding stands out to much. I think wedding layouts should be special. But this wedding is probably not so special anymore since they are divorced now. I just hope he doens't feel offended be this layout but it is still part of his life...

Susanne........You may want to look at power planning to speed up the process :o)

I have never used power scrapping techniques but I believe it would be useful to get a lot of pages done in a short time.....for example.....a gift album!!! Take care, Marilyn
