layouts

I took some pictures of a couple of layouts. Please keep in mind that I have very limited supplies and also can't use to much paper or embellishments with this album because otherwise it will get to packed and maybe even break. So this are really simple layouts. Thanks for looking. Susanne

I really like the hidden journaling on the Mickey LO and the way you incorporated maps, tickets and brochures on the pages. Simple is good. Someone was just talking the other day about the LO's they show in magazines these days being more of a form of art rather than scrapbooking memories. The majority of my pages are for memories and have lots of journaling. Then I get these wild ideas and do a few pages that are more of the 'art' format. It will make my albums look confused when I get them together, but that's me anyway. Your beach pictures are beautiful. Keep up the good work. Sandy

I think your pages are wonderful. Sometimes simple is better. I especially like the way you have those tickets displayed on your Sunday Stroll page. I hope you don't mind if I scraplift that idea from you to help my friend who has lots of tickets from her many trips.

Those are wonderful layouts Susanne. Simple is often the best way to go. Sometimes I get caught up in adding this and that to my layout and forget that my whole purpose in scrapping is to capture memories. (Which is why I have gotten into the habit of not gluing down until I know it's 'just right'! LOL) Keep up the good work!

They are wonderful. You don't need to use a lot of supplies when you have creativity. Keep up the good work.

I think you've done a wonderful job! To think that you were at Venice Beach! That is where Tabitha lives!!! I like everything about your pages, but in particular how well you place everything and tie it all together. You don't need a lot of supplies to do that, just a good eye for form and balance!

I love your pages. Disney and the beach, two of my favorite subjects. I like way you incorporated the tickets and the brochures on your pages.

I enjoyed looking at your LO's Susane. One of the things I always struggle with is how to incorporate the tickets and brochures that I want to keep. You have some very good ideas for that. Looks like you had fun on the trip and doing the album

Susanne, I like how you used the receipt on your lo. What a great idea. Something I never thought to do before. Thanks for sharing your lo's.

Feel free to scraplift! I like to keep all the tickets and some receipts so that I know later what it had cost in the past....

I loved venice beach. It it is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Unfortunatly we just spend about 2 hours there on our way to Disney World. I had read that Venice beach is the shark teeth capital. Didn't find any though...

Thanks everyone for the nice words. I'm glad you liked the layouts. I usually keep a lot of tickets and also some reciepts to remember the prices and dates. While we were collecting informations for our trip aerlier this year I realized that I hadn't kept any guide maps from my last trip to Disney. So I thought this time I'll have to incorporate them into my album. I know they have them on their website but it's just not the same as holding the map in your hand while dreaming about the next trip :)

Yep Venice is the shark teeth capital. Have you ever been to Siesta Key Beach? Its in Sarasota. That's a beautiful beach as well. It has the softest sand. Feels great on your feet.
