New Christmas cards uploaded

My card count is up to 16. Don't laugh at me. :-) But I stopped long enough to upload the new cards. I've duplicated some of the designs, so the duplicated ones aren't up there. They're in the Cards album. Hope you like them!

Nice! I really liked the "Merry Little Christmas" one, very Victorian. :-) I just love Stampin' up stuff.

I've just finished making 20 cards that I need to post, so no laughing here! :-)

Great cards - love the last one with the lights. Sandy

Great cards Deb. How did you do the cracked glass stocking. I haven't heard of that before.

Nice cards Deb!

I haven't started my cards - but I've decided to only make 10-15 just for close friends (who luckily live nearby!)

Cracked glass is really cool. I stamped the stocking on cardstock. Then I using a Versamark pad and embossnig enamel (UTEE) I embossed over the entire piece of cardstock that the stocking is on. You can use regular clear embossing powder, but you have to do more layers. So the thicker stuff works better. Do the Versamark and embossing enamel 2 or 3 times, to give you a good, thick layer. Then put it in the freezer. Yes, the freezer. Let it sit in the freezer a couple minutes, then take your piece of embossed cardstock out and bend it. The more you bend, the more cracks you get. The cool part is, if you don't like it, melt the embossing again, add another layer of enamel (if need be) and put it back in the freezer. You can also use a sponge and dab ink into the cracks for a different look.
