A few Christmas cards

I know, shocking, isn't it? It's August 1st, and I actually have some Christmas cards done! LOL They're in our new Flickr page, which I'm still getting used to. At some point in time, Yahoo/Flickr are supposed to transfer our albums from Yahoo to Flickr.

There's a link on the right to "Deb's 2007 Christmas cards". As I get more done, they'll go to the same album. There's only 4 cards in there. I started them at a stamping evening a couple Saturdays ago and finished them this week. I have another card to go in there, but I did it way earlier in the year. Let me know what you think. I have more of the same double sided paper, which I'll be using for more cards, so get used to seeing it. LOL

Those are adorable. I keep saying I need to go to one of those parties. I guess I might have to have one so I can go to one. LOL.

These are very cute! I have never made cards but hearing everyone talking about them and taking a look at your cards has inspired me to try to create my own Christmas cards this year.

I don't think the card looks too plain. I love the paper. I don't want to even think about Christmas yet.......I'm not even caught up from last spring. Where did the summer go???

Thanks Shannon. It was just a few stampers and I together at my Stampin' Up! upline's house. Just to get together and stamp for grins and giggles and of course, visit. But if you want to get addicted to stamping, I highly suggest hosting a workshop! LOL

Thanks Crystal! I think we have so many card makers here because the supplies and techniques can be interchanged so easily. That and we're all addicted to paper. LOL I would love to see any Christmas cards you make!

Thanks Sandy. You know how it goes, we're our own worse critics. :-) If I don't think about Christmas, though, it will sneak up on me and then I won't have time for any cards! LOL

And it should be here tomorrow?!!!! I try not to step outside; it was 102 when we came home from my retirement ceremony yesterday afternoon! And you know I'm so sweet I melt in that kind of heat! ROFL

it was so hot here that our a/c went out about 3pm. Darrell came home and he couldn't figure it out. Well by this morning he remembered last time we had a tech come out it was a breaker in the house. So to save us paying $100 for a trip just to flip our breaker, he checked it and that was it. There is also a breaker on the a/c system outside to. So one night of yucky heat to have a/c on by 8am... finally cool air!

So glad that it was just a breatker! I know it's awful hot and I sure feel for those without air conditioning, or have to work outside or both.

Hello Tam,

I tried emailing you back through the blog comment but it didn't come up with your email address.

The stamp is from Sarasota Stamps. They are out of Fl and they were at a Fair we went to on Monday. She doesn't do any online ordering but she gave me a card with her email on her and the card says $5 for a catty so I would think she would accept orders then. Email me mickey8888ATverizonDOTcom and I'll give you the email address. I paid $10.95 for the stamp but it is a pretty large stamp. When I came home I tried to do an online search to see if possibly she had a website but no. But like I said you can try emailing her.

For the stickles, stickles is a glitter glue but it's better then the regular glitter glue. The regular glitter glue comes out chunky not the stickles. And the colors are more vibriant with the stickles. Here is a link (and I have bought from this company many times excellent service and prompt shipping)

The stickles last awhile to because the nice part is you don't need a lot to get the effect you'r looking for. There are many many colors. The tip is like a needle point which is great for getting in small areas. Any other questions please let me know. If you can't get your hands on the stamp let me know and I can stamp out a few for you.

I checked out both blogs. Your dog is so cute! I have a Lab/Beagle mixed dog, but she looks more like a Lab, and she is very lovable! Nice job on your cards. I am sorta jealous of you having that Cuttlebug tree embossing folder..I really want one now! Linda
