New OTT Light

I bought a new OTT light this weekend at Joann Fabrics. They are having a anniversary sale. Anyhow it is one of those natural lights. Have any of ya'll used one before or have one? They are GREAT and worth every penny. I had a small halogen lamp before and did not realize how bad it glared and made the colors look off. I often took paper outside to sort or match it!! Anyhow that light is GREAT!!! If you have never seen one or tried the difference, check your local lss, a lot of them have them for cropping, at least here they do. Then put one on your Christmas wishlist!! My niece and sister now both will want one now when they see it, and I know who is in big trouble!!! OKC Dave - 48 pages since 1 May 03

Dave,

I have an OTT-lite at my desk. It's the Designer series - Lexington Antique Brushed Nickel. It's so stylish but I usually don't sit at my desk when I scrap. I just ordered a portable one from JoAnn's online with a special 50% off coupon and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Then I can use it where I scrap!!

It truly makes a difference in the colors, especially if you aren't using natural light.

Hi Dspike, I have 3 OTT lights and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them!! ~:o) I recently purchased one at BJ's for $29.99. Its the desk top model that folds up for portability. JoAnn's has them on sale for 40% off (which you bought yours). I also have a bigger taller table top model that I just gave to my Mom for her reading and my 3rd one is a floor lamp that I use for sewing. What a HUGE difference in colors and significantly less strain on the eyes.

Enjoy scrappin with your new light! ~:o) God Bless, Dorothy in NY
