my BF has a huge workshop in his garage; he's going to teach me how to turn wood on the lathe and build stuff so we can make little trinketboxes for XMas gifts.

Teddies made from mohair, with perle cotton noses and mouths and glass eyes and hmmm... haven't made one in about 3 months but oh, I really feel like making one now!

I've also made a koala and a schnawzer, but mostly, I like making teddy bears. They are so cute.

Lucky Lizz, I've always wanted to work with wood. I've built a deck and put up crown molding and waiscoating, but I've always waned to be able to make furniture. For some reason, I've always been afraid to try making it, who knows why!

Quilting's something I've always wanted to learn. I am working on some paper quilts right now (for some scrapbook pages of a musical I did called Quilters several years back), but I'm not stitiching them with thread! :) Maybe if I can find time I'll get someone to teach me to quilt someday soon. I do have a computer quilting program (Electric Quilt) but haven't had the nerve to try the real thing yet. My mom does though... I've also always want to become a better seamstress. My mother is a great one (made my wedding dress using two different patterns and some made up portions and makes all her own home furnishings) and my great aunt was a professional seamstress for her whole life, but me, I'm lucky to stitch a straight line... Now, maybe that's because I only sew once every year at Christmas time??? :)

Stamping. stamping, stamping, oh yeah...and stamping! LOL I also crochet (would LOVE to learn to knit), sew, used to cross-stitch, but haven't in years (still have a few un-finished projects around here somewhere) and garden (flowers in the front yard, fruits & veggies in the back yard).
