NSD and Mother's Day

First, Happy Mother's Day!

Yesterday I went to a National Scrapbooking Day event that my Creative Memories lady held at her church. We paid $25 for a 9a-9p crop that included light breakfast (muffins, juice and such), lunch (sandwiches, chips, brownies, etc.) and a hot dinner (lasagna, garlic bread, salad, etc.). There were LOTS of drawings. I won a couple of pre-made borders...VERY cute ones. I completed 20 (yes, TWENTY!) pages. I have another crop scheduled for May 20th-21st from 6p-6a. It's a pajama crop and everbody who shows up with pj's on gets a prize. We will crop the night away. I've set a goal at 20 more pages done for that crop.

Wow Cecelia...sounds like you had a fabulous time at the NSD event. Twenty LO's in twelve hours is a great achievement. The PJ crop in a couple of weeks time sounds like it could be a real hoot. Kinda like a pyjama party for the big girls....LOL What a fun idea!!!

Wow Cecelia. How do you get so many pages done at a crop? I went to one yesterday too and did four 12 x 12 pages and finished several pages for a wedding book that I'm working on.

Sounds like you had fun Cecelia. I went to one at ReCollections with my family. Paid $10.00 for a 6-Midnight crop and that included dinner....Olive Garden....(lasagna, breadsticks, and salad). Could have stood for some cookies though. They had several drawings and my mom, me, and both of my sisters won goodie bags. I only finished 9 layouts....(and that was because I ended up not matting most of my photos)... Better than nothing though. I did do some shopping and spent about $39.00 over what my birthday gift certificate was. I can't believe you finished 20 pages....Wow! I meant to try and pre-plan my pages before I went, but just didn't have time.
