All Day Crop in Nebraska

I've signed up to go to an All Day Crop in Nebraska on March 19th. It's from 9am - 9pm. The fee was $45, but it includes continental breakfast, hot lunch, hot dinner and snacks/drinks for all day. They are giving away LOTS of prizes. As soon as we sign in we get a package of stuff just for showing up then there will be drawings all day. The biggest prize is a rolling cart thingy. They are also doing contests for layouts (most completed, most pictures used, etc.). We can submit layouts ahead of time for a "best in show" kinda contest. It's being done by several Creative Memories people. We will sit in the same area as our "pusher" (hehe). I'm setting a goal of

30 pages for that day (will be using power layout thingy). I've already made an appt at the Chiropractor for the following Monday. LOL

Sounds like loade of fun, 30 pages would be just awesome! I always set up an appointment with the chiro after I've gone on a trip especially if I'm flying!

Sounds like tons of fun Cecelia! I'm sure you'll meet your goal of 30. I for one will be rooting for you!

The 19th must be a good day for scrapping. The women in my church are starting a scrapping group that day, open to the community. I'm the lucky? one who gets to teach the basics of scrapping. LOL I'm looking forward to it though!

Oh Cecelia ! All day crops are the most fun of all!! That sounds like a reasonable fee for what it entails. You will have so much fun and from my experience...no one is a stranger! Scrappers are the neatest people in the world. I have never met a scrapper I didn't like!! I love looking at everyone's work and getting new ideas.

Sounds like fun. I hate to spend a lot of money to go to a crop when I can spend that on more supplies. But... you are getting all your meals so that makes up for it right there. Hip you have fun. 30 pages is a lot for the day. I hope you can get them all done. Let us know how it goes.

OK, I know this is a stupid question to the rest of you, but what is a "crop" specifically? I'm familiar with vegetable crops, fruit crops, Photoshop crops, cropped haircuts, and even share cropping, but not All Day Crops. :-)

In my opinion its just like a scrap workshop. Just an abbreviation. Or I think you can just go and cut, trim pictures. Punch dies. That's what I think anyway.

You are so funny Noah! LOL I see a response to this. I'll read what it says before I answer. They may have already.

Crop Circles?! :D

You're right Shannon. It's a term for getting together to work on ones scrapbook. Cropping one's photos and working on their albums.

LOL Noah ! I am sure someone has explained it to you by now so I won't but I had to thank you for the chuckle!

My scrappbooking group is having an all day crop on the 19th too. Gee I wonder how many pages we can all get done on that day? Hopefully I will do more than the three I did last time!
