LSSs everywhere -- lucky, lucky!

Sunday's newspaper had an article that not one but THREE Hobby Lobbys are coming to the Dayton, OH area! Lacey & Bluejean -- it's going into the old Rhodes Furniture by the Dayton Mall. That building is huge!

So, we have at least two Michael's, several Jo Ann's, LOTS of Wal-Marts & super Wal-Marts, and I can think of about a dozen LSS stores within

10 miles.

I am soooo jealous!!! we have to drive MILES to get to a LSS now... Kenda

Amy in Springboro said I can think of about a dozen LSS stores within 10 miles.

I think I'm living in the wrong place. LOL Congratulations ladies on all the new goodies in your area!

But....I guess I can't complain. The only craft stores (of ANY type) where my Mom & sis live is a Super Wal-Mart. I don't know if there's an LSS there or not. (I'll find out this summer though!) They have to drive about 70 miles to get to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, & JoAnns! The 10-15 miles I have to drive to the LSS, Super Wal-Mart, Target, Hobby Lobby, Michaels & JoAnns doesn't sound so bad now. LOL

OH yay!!! I hope they put michaels out!!!!

I love Michaels. They always have the 40% off coupons. Hobby Lobby doesn't. My hobby lobby won't even except the Michaels coupons.

I forgot to mention JoAnns when I posted yesterday. That's actually the closest place to buy scrapping materials. However, the store is so full of "stuff" that only one person can walk down an aisle. Besides that, there is usually only one cashier (and only two stations) to deal with those ready to check out. There have been times I've had to go find someone to check me out. I refuse to go into that store for those reasons.

That's the same here. I like the Michael's coupon when I can make the 50 mile one way drive, but I like the clearance at Hobby Lobby which is right down the road from Michael's. Only problem with Hobby Lobby - it's closed on Sunday and that's usually the only day I can get away to the city to shop. Sandy

Oh you'll love HL. It's the best! I don't care much for Michaels and think even less of Joanns. HL's are huge compared to them. Have fun shopping and keep your chin off the floor because if you've never been in one before your mouth will be open wide the first time you step in the door.

Until recently all the sales at HL were always 50% off of whatever was on sale. You can't beat that. Unfortunately, they're going the way of the other places and now stuff is just 30 & 40% off w/ an occassional

50% sale. Anyone else notice this? Under these circumstances they should start taking competitors coupons. Guess they have to pay for those three new stores.

No kidding! The first time Kenda took me to Hobby Lobby I was stunned by how big it was and how much stuff they have! I love that store!

And we got one of 'em, which opened 5 weeks ago. I have already spent about $120 there (remember those $30 glue dots?).
