Soups, Stews, I've got the Crockpot Blues! Recipe Swap
Let's do recipes that warm up our tummies this time of year. And why do I have the Crockpot Blues... most everything I try out of the crockpot recipe books is a flop. I'm hoping someone will send in a TNT (tried and true) crockpot recipe as their contribution to the swap. I'm not asking for exclusively crockpot recipes though, so never fear any recipe you love to cook in the fall will be enjoyed!
Please read through all of the details and if you are seriously interested, e-mail me privately if you would like to join at snipped-for-privacy@earthlink.net. We could possibly split into 2 groups if there is enough interest.
What you will do: Create identical 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook pages. (The number to be determined after sign ups.) Embellish the page just as you would a scrapbook page, but in place of the pictures include your recipe. You will need to use all acid/lingin free products. Feel free to be as simple or as grand as you wish, but I must insist that there be at least one embellishment. Examples would be hand glittered, a few stickers, tags, shaker box, eyelets, hand stamping, paper piecing. Remember the other participates in this swap will be scrapping their hearts out for you and you should do the same for them.
What you will get back: WONDERFUL recipe pages from across America possibly from around the globe!
Deadline: Items are due to me on October 31st. If I recieve all the pages on time I can swap them and have them back to you before November 7th and we can start enjoying some delicious warm meals.
For mail back I ask that you send a $3.85 Priority Mail stamp or $3.85 in cash and I'll buy the stamps when I get the envelops. I will use the card board Priority Mail envelopes to protect the recipes.
