Official signups for the ATC swap

Oct 03, 2006 10 Replies

Okay, I think there's enough interest so we're going to do it! I'll take signups until Sunday the 8th. The due date will be Nov. 10th. That's little more than a month to get things done and sent in. I'll send out final details via e-mail once the swap is closed.

You MUST e-mail me at ~ treeny70 (at) yahoo.com ~ to sign up.

The list from the other thread of those interested includes: Sandy, Mel, Linda, Dorothy, Kate, purplerags(Irene or Carol, I can't remember) and maybe Chatty Cathy. Be sure to e-mail me ladies.

We'll make one card for every person that signs up. If you have any questions about the atc's just do a search of the newsgroup at google. We've talked extensively on the subject in the past. You can also do a web search. You'd be amazed at what you'll find. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have as well.

Email sent! Is there a theme for the cards, or is it anything goes? I'll be happy either way, but a theme is a bigger challenge. I'm gonna have fun with this one. Hope there are a lot of signups!

Katrina, I sent you an email to sign up for the swap. I sent it from my Yahoo account, not the Earthlink one. Just wanted you to know it was from me. :-)

I emailed you to sign up..hope you got it.. cathy L.

Hi

I'll email you separately. I think you have my snail mail address anyhow.

Kate

The theme for this swap is fall, winter, halloween, thanksgiving & Christmas. You can pick one or make a variety.

So far 9, including myself, have signed up. Hopefully we can get a few more participants. If you're interested but not sure just e-mail me at treeny70(at)yahoo.com or ask any questions you have here on the ng.

Oooh - Good Theme!

Sent you an email....let me know if you didn't get it.

Can't miss an ATC Swap!

Katr> The theme for this swap is fall, winter, halloween, thanksgiving &

I'm wanting to make my cards today, I have everything gathered but I cannot find any information about the actual size ("baseball card" does not help me) and how many are needed. There was a count of nine (naming people but my name wasn't listed so that cannot be correct. I got the email about what to put on the back but am confused.

I am making each card slightly different then the next but if they were to be viewed together they'd obviously be a part of a series. Therefore are they numbered or not numbered on the back. Can you show me an example of how to do it is it 1/9 or only if they're all identical?

Help!! I've emailed Katrina but I thought this might be a little bit faster. Thanks!

Raring to go!

Melissa in Seattle byt, my gmail is broken again so if you write me there I won't be able to reply but must reply using another email account. Yes, it's extremely frustrating!

Melissa - I'm jealous! I need to start on mine

Ok - I hope i can help you out....the cards are to be the same size as a regular playing card - (I think it's 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches). You can use a playing card as a template.

I believe that there are 11 participants in the swap, so make at least

11, I usually do one more, so I can keep one for myself.

I have numbered mine in the past, although you don't have to. I think it's up to you, really. On the back of mine I will be writing put RCS ATC swap, 11/06. 1/12 (2/12, 3/12...etc). Along with my name, etc.

If you are stuck, and get a chance to come by this weekend, I can show you an example.

Hope that helps!

Have FUN!!!

Jessica
