OT: Back but not for long!

Well ladies and gents, I'm back from my trip to NYC and a happy camper I am! As I mentionned in a previous post it really was great meeting Kate and her DH. I think if we lived close by we would become great friends! Our house in NLR is basically sold. We've accepted an offer, they had the inspection Thursday and all is well. So barring something unforseen happening, we close on this house on May 19th, which is great as that is the day that my DH wanted. We close on the house in Riverview, FL on April 20th, so I do need to get things moving along! So other than getting the house warranty and the termite contracts turned over to the new owners and of course getting things packed, everything here is almost under control. Of course I also will need to call all the companies and send them registered letters to make sure that things here are turned off on May 19th, and I haven't figured out the best and most economical way to get things moved.

As for the new house, our offer has been accepted and we are waiting to hear that the mortgage has been funded. Since we are closing on that house on the

20th of this month, things have to start moving a lot faster. Anyhow I am off to Gulfport for the wedding festivities on Tuesday as I do need Monday to get some things done. I should get back on Sunday the 9th. Then on the 10th I'm having the moving company come in with a quote, and will need to figure out whether to go PODS, U-Haul or full move. I was hoping to get Dave to work with us, after all I always prefer to put money in my friends pockets, but given his heavy schedule, I haven't even dared ask him, LOL! That wonderful man is soooo busy these days!

So looks like a few days in Tampa, from the 19th till ???, then back here for more packing including packing all my stuff for the Barn, then once Deb and I get back, more packing and then the final move out of here to FL. I can't wait to see Tabitha and her family, I wasn't even able to call or see her when I was there! I'm also looking forward to catching up with Susan West and hopefully Patti and the rest of our Florida ladies. I think I'll organize a mini meet to catch up with everyone, once I'm settled again!

Would you believe that while in NY, I managed to make 10 of the 32 6x6 pages. Thankfully everything that is actually neededis on my first page so that if I don't have time to make a 2nd page, I'll still have the basics done! All I need now is to finish the other 6, and add a picture of me to the page. A small picture of me, LOL!

If I owe you an answer to either an email or a post, please forgive me. If it is an email, and I actually received it, I've flagged it with the intent of etting back to it. It if is a post, please do contact me again as I just can't read it all.

I'd like to welcome all the newbies, and wish everyone I may have missed, Happy Birthday! My prayers continue for those of you who are going through trying times.

Hugs

We need to install a revolving door at your house, too. LOL Hey, would that add value to the house? *ducks flying objects*

I don't know how you keep up. So, is Fairview where you will be moving to? If it is. You won't be that far from Tonya well... Yanya.
