Well It was a very quick trip but it was great because.... I got to meet Amy S. She looked, sounded and was exactly as wonderful as I expected. Her albums are awesome and her eldest daughter is quite the scrapper and critic! I enjoyed spending time with both of them! DH and I just got in and it is
11:30 PM. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Amy, for meeting me. It made the trip extra special. I'll upload pictures tomorrow, and talk to you about the scrapbook stores and what I bought.
Theresa I do want to take a moment to tell you that your son is in my prayers. I was like him as a 5 year old, very anemic and having to take iron drops for weeks. But then again I didn't eat very well because I had continuous and seemingly undetected tonsil infections. Hopefully things will right themselves with the iron drops!
Back with you all in the AM!

LOL Marcia! If I were as Flat as Stanley, I could fly air mail, would that be net and inexpensive! I do love meeting people from RCS though. Not sure where I'll be going next!

Just realized that I never posted about M-C and I getting together when she came to Arizona. After M-C visiting 3 previous stores across town she met me at Scrappin' Sisters (a small but close store to me). She was as sweet and nice as I thought she would be. She was too thoughtful and brought me a Tombow Mono Adhesive Taper Runner and a refill for it (I had been asking about these recently), some really cute Stickopotamus dragonfly stickers and some butterfly/ladybug ones too(with cute little brads on them), a neat Jolee's by you camera, and a package of Cardeaux Trimmings Ribbons (primary colors with a cute crayons on one, and a measuring tape on another and plain colored on the others. Thank you, M-C, you didn't have to do that, that was too sweet of you! I brought along my 9 year old daughter, Savannah (who also scraps) with me. My daughter had a $5.00 gift certificate to spend. I ended up not buying anything and M-C spent less than $2.00. I was dissappointed as they were out of a lot of things like the distress stamp pads that I wanted and my 3-L tape runner as well as a lot of the newer products. I brought in my 5 albums for M-C to look at (hope it wasn't too boring for you!), so that is what we spent most of our time doing. Also, hope my daughter wasn't too annoying (she talks a lot). M-C educated me on a way bigger and better store that I didn't even know about. I will have to get my butt over to the other side of town sometime.
After leaving the first store we met over at ReCollections (much bigger and better selection). I do hate their baskets though. They have these small narrow wooden baskets that just do not hold paper, etc. very well at all. I gave my daughter $10.00 to spend there. She was being very frugal with her money. I ended up spending about $34.00 on some paper, cardstock, vellum tags, and some other various emellishments. I think M-C ended up spending more than me though. I can't remember everything that she bought, some emellishements for a baby book (very cute) and holders for her die cuts. I had actually been there a few weeks before and spent WAY too much money, so I was trying to be in control. M-C was also too nice here and bought us soda and even with our little mishap with the machine. She kept getting Diet Coke with Lime and she wanted plain. She never got one though :( It was getting late and M-C had to drive all they way across town, so we said our goodbyes and went on our way.
It was so nice to finally meet someone from the group. M-C is such a nice lady and if you get a chance maybe some of you can meet up with her too! M-C did take some photos, I don't know if they turned out or not. Hey, M-C are you going to be able to post those??? Well, that was our short, but sweet trip/meet-up.
