Well, that was the first time ever we've had the luxury of 3 days at the park. They are having a special right now, DH got in for free (military) and we got in for $39 each. So I finally got to see California Adventure. It was awesome, we had so much fun.

I am checking out costco.com, I heard I can store all my photos there for a small fee, plus my family can order prints directly. Then everyone can see my photos, since I won't be scrapping them anytime soon. I still have to finish my W&W pages, then a grandmother album for my mom, then 2 field trip albums for my kids for homeschooling.

Wow Sheri that is an awesome price! We try to go once a year, but that doesn't always happen. We are hoping to go at Christmas time. It is so neat when everything is decorated for Christmas. Was the Haunted Mansion open and decorated with "The Nightmare Before Christmas" theme yet?

That would be neat to see all of your pictures.

Yeah it was an awesome price, just a thank you to the military. They did it during the last Gulf war but it was only for one day. Plus so many people had told us we ought to try to catch a free military flight. Basically you hitch a ride on a cargo plane. Most of them have some airline type seats, but you are at their whim. It took us 3 days to finally get a flight to CA, and 2 days waiting to get back. Going we took a C5, with backwards facing seats and way too much noise. Coming back though we got on a DC8 contractor flight, with attendants, hot meal, and movies. Pretty darn good for free. I'm glad because we could never afford to fly the family to the mainland.

My kids are too little, they are too scared of the HM, plus it was very crowded anyway. My 6 yo cried his eyes out all the way through PotC while my

4 yo clutched onto DH so tightly he had finger marks on his arms. DH was disappointed, he really wanted to take them into the HM.

The flight back sounds really nice. It is expensive to fly! We went to Maui at the end of June and I was shocked to see the prices of airline tickets.

Yeah, some of the scary stuff can scare the little ones. For my kids is was mostly the dark. A lot of the rides in Fantasyland tend to be dark inside. They got over it eventually though. My girls just love the Haunted Mansion, they are 8 and 4. My little one doesn't seem to be scared of anything lately. Her not being afraid of strangers really bothers me. She will talk to anyone and just crawl up in their lap, she is an attention hound. She used to be afraid of a lot of things, the dark, dogs, creepy music, and loud noises.

Glad you all had a good time Sheri!
