Hi everyone -- I've missed you! Monday morning I took my Mac to the Apple store to figure out what was wrong. It was exhibiting a minor problem that didn't prevent its use, but it certainly made me curious. Since I have AppleCare, it seemed the best thing to do was to get it fixed before things became -- perhaps -- worse. It turned out not to be a hardware problem, after all; instead it was a conflict in some software that I already had and the new OS I'd recently installed. Whew! But it took all week for them to figure out exactly what it was.
I've had to mark all of the previous messages as "read" and will start fresh. I hope everyone has been well and happy while I was "away". As for me, I've made terrific progress on the Baravalle Spiral quilt from Pat's book; I'm doing the handwork on the binding now and will then make a label to finish it all off. I'm really impressed with how clear and easy to follow Pat's instructions are, and I love the resulting quilt! :)
