I'm back

Well I've been off work since Dec 22nd. I took a vacation (stayed home) with the kids on Christmas break. I scrapped about 30 pages. I'm working on getting pictures of them and getting them on line. I figure after a year of being with this NG I better get some of my stuff up. It was nice to be able to get a lot done. Still have tons to do but its a start. Seems like Christmas break is the only time I really get a lot done.

First off I have to thank Tammy for my lovely surprise in the mail the Monday after Christmas. She gave me some ink and stamps. Thanks so much Tammy. It was a nice surprise.

I tried coming back to work on Wednesday but our office closed at 1:00 due to freezing rain. We lost our power Wednesday evening and still don't have it back yet. I'm hoping very soon. My husband just got the generator hooked up so that I can have hot water.

Well, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and happy new year. Hopefully by next week I can get some of my pages on webshots or something like that. Have a good weekend everyone.

Glad you could pop back in Shannon and let us know!!! And like I posted in another thread, the weather has been, is and gonna be ROTTEN!!

But as we all know ICE is the worst thing. I am glad I live in the CITY rather proper as we tend to get power back quicker than others. The BIG storm that hit OK in January '02, I was without power for 18 hours. I was so afraid I was gonna lose ALL my fish.

Take care and see ya later!!!

nada for 05

Yeah, I have power now. You don't realize how much you use water and plug-ins until you don't have them. I felt like I was living in the rock ages.

It's amazing, isn't it?

I got an electric wok (by default)(another story)(LOL) for Christmas this year & I used it for the first time this past weekend. Well, it's in 2 pieces the hot plate & the wok & as I was assembling it a crazy thought entered my head that this will be great if the power goes out, we can still boil a kettle!! Thank heavens I didn't say it out loud!! Well, I guess now I technically have!(LOL)

Senior moments!!??
