We just got preApproved for a mortgage (YAHOO) and we just put in an offer on a coop (MLSLI #1988064)
We'll find out soon.

what's funny is that although we are required to live within the city (no Long Island, pooh) the mortgage person ran us and got us qualified for a HOUSE initially for $225,000 which would be nice if only homes didn't start at $550,000 and go up from there.
She re-ran our numbers for the coop and we were also accepted.
Realize that we are looking at a bunch of different ones and the one I listed here are is the one we really want and we have several others on our wish list (think House hunters).
It's got a patio and JACUZZI tub. Kate
