OT: Dave stopped for a visit

Dave suprised me with a visit on Saturday. It was one of those crazy days as I had CPR/First Aid Training in the morning, the grandbaby in for the day and overnight, DS had a make-up game at 2 PM..... Dave got to town and did some serious shopping whild the game was finishing up. I only gave him directions to Pamida - don't let him tell you it was my fault he spent money there. (they were having a great clearance sale) We met him in the parking lot of the store and DS got to help him unhook the cab (am I saying that right?) and rode back to the house with him. What a thrill - Dave, don't forget to send me pictures of that. I can't believe I didn't have my camera with me. It rained through over half the game so I didn't have it in the van. Dave finally got to meet my DH and youngest grandbaby. He brought the kids a pump and balloons that shoot way up in the air - they had a great time out back with that. We visited for a while and then Dave, DD and DS and I drove to Washington to eat at the Black Buggy (an Amish restaurant). It's not my fault he found the store connected to the restaurant either. They came over the loud speaker and announced homemade bread for $1 a loaf while supplies last. I think he came back with four bags of homemade goodies..... After dinner I drove Dave to the community center where my crop group meets and he got to see where I crop and meet my group...including our newest addidion (the baby that was born early while I was at the barn). Don't let him tell you it was my fault he took the address for the Treasure Box monthly kits either. He got that from my friend, not me..... I didn't look at the clock, but I think it was close to 11 when Dave finally headed out.....which was a lot later than he planned. Hope he made it home safely. Sandy

ENABLER Pro is al I care to say, and that goes for Teresa in MD too!!

((hhummmpph I KNOW that it is a unspoken requirement to be in RCS!)

The food at that place was the second best I have ever eaten at any buffet, next to the one Theresa and her x-dh took me to in Joliet. And as ya'll know, I have been at many all over the country in 4 and 5 star hotels. the Amish know how to cook and I so miss it from being a kid.

thanks Sandy11 (i think?!)
