OT: I'm Back after a few days of disspareance

I'm back! Saturday I was real sick and spent the day in bed with a bad stomache. Sunday I woke up not feeling much better. DH asked where exactly the pain was, I showed him and he said thats your appendix were going to the ER. Get to the ER they do test and say it really can't be the appendix because you don't have a spike it tempature but lets do a CAT Scan. Fine, that comes back that its my appendix and it needs to be removed. I came home yesterday from the hospital a little sore but okay. I will be out of work 2 weeks tops. Which is fine with me since I hate my job and its really stressful. But my question why does it seem that all the body parts that causes us pain are the ones we really don't need? LOL!

LOL... glad you are OK Chrissy! Gall bladers and appendixsssss... they must have been useful at some point!

Please take care of yourself and get plenty of rest! That way you might actually feel good enough next week to have some quality time off work!

I'm so glad to see you back, Chrissy! I've often wondered about removing those painful parts of your body. At some point in time they must have been useful! LOL Take care of yourself, and get plenty of rest. That way maybe you'll feel up to having some time for yourself while you're off work!

So, glad to hear you're on the mend. And yes why do the useless organs go bad on us? I have to say though I'd rather it be that way than the other.

Chrissy, glad that you are ok, and back with us.

Why can't we just go to the doctor and say I want this removed when we are really young so that we can mend easier. If it was on our own decision I think we would mend quicker

Hi Chrissy. The reason they cause us pain is they are usually unnecessary. That way the ones we need can stay healthier. I hope you feel better quickly.

Judy, I think that is funny about the wisdom teeth thingy! LOL I believe it is because we get them last and we should be wise enough to know better!!! LOL Maybe someday, we just won't grow them anymore!
