OT: Just said my goodbyes to Deb and Kenda

I'm sitting here in tears, having just said goodbye to two of the best friends I've ever had. Kenda despite everything going on in her life managed to find the time to go out for a short lunch. She also made me some beautiful, "Just moved" cards to send to friends and family.

Deb left a moment ago after spending hours over here to help me pack. We have spent a lot of time together in the past few months and I will miss her so much. Of course I'll be calling her to ask her where she thinks we packed this and that as I sort through all the dozens of boxes and crates. I take the road I'm hoping tomorrow with my two furbabies. It is not Little Rock i will miss so much as those two great ladies, Deb and Kenda.

I really wanted to thank them publicly especially since we tried real hard all three of us not to make the other two cry.

I probably won't be online much over the next several days as I make my way to Riverview, FL.

Oh I forgot to mention that Deb gave me a bag full of Jelly Bellies!!! I guess she wants to make sure that I'm awake and happy on my way to FL, LOL! For those who don't know, Deb and I got a huge sugar high from eating jelly bellies on our way to the barn! So there is great significance in her getting me the bag of jelly bellies!!

Thanks Kate! I can't wait to see you guys again! Hopefully Rick will do more videos in NYC. I know he wanted Rick to do two the last time and they agreed to split it up, but I'm worried that he will want to come to Tampa instead of our going to NYC.

Jelly bellies are awesome!!! Especially the popcorn and th peanut butter ones! But I'm not picky, i'll eat them all LoL! Have a safe trip M-C! I hope all goes well for you. When you are all settled we look forward to having you back on a more regular basis! Barb:o)

It's taken me this long to reply because I kept crying. Do you know how hard it is to cry and type at the same time?? I have been so blessed to have been able to get to know MC. She's a dear friend. Call me anytime you can't find anything! I can't gaurantee I'll be able to tell you which box or crate it's in, though. LOL

Hopefully by now you're close to your new home. I can't wait to see it! I look forward to whenever I can take a roadtrip to FL, or fly...whichever. :-)

Although you are probably on the road, I am wishing you a safe and pleasant journey to Florida. I consider myself blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting Deb and Kenda as well as visiting your ex-beautiful house in Little Rock and I understand your pain. You are leaving behind wonderful people that make the most wonderful friends. They are only a phone call or a short hop away. I am looking foward to you being a little closer to my neck of the woods. It is too bad we all couldn't be in the same town....we could call it some crafty name. ((HUGS)) Jacqui

I can not tell you how hard it was to drive away on Friday. Knowing that it would be a long time before I see you again. I cried on the way home. You are such a wonderful woman and an amazing friend. I will miss you, but I know that we will keep in contact via email, phone calls and visits.

I am so glad I was not HERE or THERE as I would have cried - WAAA!!!

I know they are going to miss ou terribly and I hope to get there to the Rock to see them sometime this summer and spend some crafting time!!
